Brittany Lorenzi

Brittany is passionate about helping entrepreneurs grow their companies. In being raised by two entrepreneurs with a love for real estate, Brittany saw firsthand the hard work required to grow a thriving company, but she also saw the rewards. She also saw the fulfillment found in creating ideas from a blank canvas, in building blueprints of successful companies.

Brittany is now building her third company--her first was founded in college--and BluePrint Strategy allows her to express her love for the creative side of numbers while developing strategies that break big ideas into manageable pieces and step-by-step processes. Her success is based on seventeen years of experience in the real estate industry and a background in finance, operations, management and redevelopment. Brittany is results-oriented, a team player whose depth of professional experience allows her to create solutions that consider the impacts on all areas of the organization.

Brian Shun

Brian Shun is a perpetually curious soul that loves dropping pebbles of questions into the still places of people’s thinking. He is an astute business generalist and visionary, equally strong in creativity (right-brain) and critical thinking (left-brain) that delights in distilling lots of disparate creative and analytical information to arrive at a direction forward with a practical set of solutions.

Brian helps startups and multimillion-dollar brands innovate and launch new initiatives, boost profit, and increase productivity. He has consistently been the X factor in successful prototyping of new ideas and products while building the team to support the venture. Brian is a confidante to top leaders and known for his unique ability to understand the interconnectedness within a situation and communicate it clearly. With decades of direct experience in diverse industries (such as entertainment, hospitality, technology, publishing) and business sizes in multiple disciplines – including strategic planning, branding, storytelling, operations, finance, revenue management, and marketing – Brian loves working alongside others, guiding them through the process of creating something fresh.

Brian Shun is: A business coach and strategic advisor in Thinkify Advisors; co-founder and co-host of Curiosity Continuum, a podcast and movement that guides listeners through a changing world by reframing practical topics that help them learn something new and apply what they already know in a new way; chief strategy officer and chief of staff for Mosaic People, an international fine art company telling redemptive stories through mosaic and other fine art mediums through their community of world-class artists and artisans; an accomplished bassist, having performed for hundreds of thousands of people across the globe, laying musical foundations for the songs of world-class songwriters and musicians.

Julia Polk

Julia Polk is the Chief Strategy Officer for Decode Health, a company building AI to recognize chronic disease risk early. Decode’s platform identifies undetected, misdiagnosed and uncontrolled chronic disease risk in patient populations. The company has initially focused on autoimmune diseases such as multiple sclerosis, Crohn’s and ulcerative colitis that drive significant annual healthcare spend. Raising equity capital, establishing revenue and business models, cultivating strategic partnerships and establishing long term relationships to support the growth of the business, Julia works with the CEO to take advantage of inherent skills in the team that align with evolving forces in the healthcare and life sciences markets.

 Julia’s career in finance spans over 25 years of building companies and mentoring early stage entrepreneurs. Julia has been a Wall Street investment banker, Venture Capitalist and Angel Investor.  She has served as CFO for two early stage companies that were pioneering new industries (employer sponsored onsite childcare and healthcare cost transparency) while launching new ventures: CorporateFamily Solutions (Bright Horizons) and Change Healthcare Corporation, each of which ultimately delivered substantial shareholder value through IPO and strategic sale respectively.  

Julia has served in a variety of senior strategic finance and interim management roles, and she’s coordinated the raising of over $40MM in venture, strategic and angel capital.  Since June 2012, she has mentored and advised over 100 startup companies in healthcare services, life sciences and technology, consumer finance, consumer products, hardware/software technology and education technology.

Julia serves on several corporate and advisory boards, including Decode Health, IQuity Labs, Newsbreak Networks, LaunchTN (Executive Committee), and Givful.

A graduate of Vanderbilt University, Julia is a mother of two grown daughters and has lived in Nashville for over 30 years.

Leah Jensen Bennion

Leah is passionate about advising and shepherding small businesses from start-up phases through pre-IPO. A veteran corporate lawyer, Leah has been advising individuals and companies for over a decade.  Leah started her legal practice representing bio-tech startups, and has since represented individuals and companies across industries in all areas of commercial transactions ranging from: employment contracts, entity formation and conversion, IP matters, negotiations, M&A, securities, licensing, international law, commercial real estate, development agreements, and corporate taxation.

Prior to forming Jensen Bennion Law, Leah was with the Boutique law practice ClearWater Law and Governance Group in Salt Lake City, Utah. Leah graduated from the University of Denver earning achievement awards in Antitrust and Comparative Corporate Law. Leah was also a student editor of the first collaborative professor-student legal blog on corporate governance: TheRaceToTheBottom. When not practicing law, Leah enjoys running, hiking and traveling. Leah is licensed in Tennessee, Utah and Colorado.

Nancy Stabell

As founder and lead attorney at Wood Stabell Law Group, PLLC, Nancy Stabell brings over 20 years of experience in law and business to bear for her clients. She has focused her career on being a strategic partner to business and protecting stakeholder value. Known for her resourcefulness and deft handling of complex negotiations, she doesn’t just provide legal advice to businesses; she gives sound, creative business advice supported by legal knowledge.  

As a fourth-generation attorney, the law is in Nancy’s blood, and business is always on her mind. She thrives on the challenge of devising effective legal strategy to make her clients’ business goals a reality. Nancy concentrates her law practice in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, and commercial/industrial real estate law. She takes pride in building collaborative teams to efficiently deliver the caliber of result that large firms offer, but with more personal attention and a better bottom line for her clients.  

Nancy previously practiced at Waller Lansden Dortch & Davis, LLP and Frost Brown Todd, LLC, before leaving to serve as the Division Counsel for Affinion Benefits Group.  She is a graduate of the University of Tennessee College of Law where she was a member of the Tennessee Law Review.  Nancy’s peers have given her an AV Rating with Martindale-Hubbell. 

Active in the Nashville community, Nancy has served as a board member and finance committee chair of Family & Children’s Service, board chair of the Nashville City Club, board member for Hands On Nashville,  and is currently the board chairman and treasurer of the Nashville Business Coalition.  She is an alum of both the Tennessee Bar Association’s Leadership Law program as well as the Young Leader’s Council.  Nancy is an active parishioner at St. George’s Episcopal Church.

Elizabeth has been a member, presenter, and advisor for the Social Venture Circle (previously Social Venture Network) and a frequent case study faculty member for the Social Venture Institute (SVI) in British Columbia. She is a sought after speaker, workshop leader and guest on stages and in media (Forbes, Fast Company, Conscious Company, Huff Post, Thrive Global on both personal and company strategic planning. Her critically acclaimed book, Live Large the Achiever’s Guide to What’s Next (Greenleaf, 2017) is one more way she lives her commitment to helping people and organizations thrive.

She is a graduate of Vanderbilt University and holds an MS from Tennessee State University. A Gazelles Certified Coach (Scaling Up) for fifteen years and now The 3HAG Way, she continues to grow her expertise by incorporating today’s best business thinking and tools.

Currently, she is Board Chair of Village People, a successful residential real estate and development company in Nashville and a board member of Good Works Ventures (impact investing fund) and High Stakes Foundation in Missoula, Montana.
